Lab Scaling & Research Capacity Enablement

Project Overview
Led the scaling and organization of applied research labs to support increased project volume, shared equipment usage, and parallel team workflows. Reorganized lab layouts, standardized equipment placement, and aligned infrastructure with operational demand to enable more concurrent research activity without compromising safety or reliability.
The Challenge
Growing research demand created congestion across lab spaces, equipment access, and workflows. Disorganized layouts and inconsistent standards limited throughput, increased setup time, and made it difficult to support multiple projects simultaneously within shared environments.
Approach
Assessed existing lab layouts, equipment utilization, and workflow constraints to identify bottlenecks. Reorganized spaces to improve flow, accessibility, and safety while standardizing equipment placement and storage. Coordinated equipment additions and upgrades to align with capacity needs, integrating changes into SOPs and training systems to ensure sustainable adoption.
